Fallon Health invites public to visit its PACE Centers during National PACE Month

Worcester, Mass., September 6, 2023—Throughout National PACE Month in September, Fallon Health invites interested families to visit and see firsthand why Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) are the ideal option for keeping older adults independent in their own homes and cared for. The theme for the month is “PACE: Where You Belong.”

PACE is a program and model of care that allows people to live independently in their homes and communities instead of a nursing home, while providing a better quality of life with dedicated caregivers, transportation, full medical care, and opportunities for socialization. PACE helps older adults avoid isolation and live full lives with all their care needs met.

Backed by nearly 30 years’ experience, the nationally recognized not-for-profit health care services organization has grown its Massachusetts program, Summit ElderCare, to today include five PACE Centers serving 10 counties across the Commonwealth. It is the largest PACE program in New England and among the top 10 largest in the country. It also operates a program in Western New York called Fallon Health Weinberg-PACE which serves eligible individuals in Erie and Niagara counties.

“We are proud of the care we provide for each of our PACE participants,” said Kris Bostek, Senior Vice President of PACE Programs for Fallon Health. “But what makes PACE special are the connections we form with the people we serve and the family caregivers and loved ones who support them.”
